In the central bodies of legislative and executive power

By Decree No. 271/2024 of May 6, 2024, the President of Ukraine extended the martial law in Ukraine from May 14, 2024 for a period of 90 days (until August 11, 2024 inclusive) and on May 9 signed the Law of May 8, 2024 adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine r. No. 3684-IX “On the approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On extending the term of martial law in Ukraine”.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by order of April 30, 2024 No. 380-r “Some issues of the annual general meeting of the joint-stock company “Ukrainian Railway”:

1. Approved the results of the financial and economic activities of the joint-stock company “Ukrainian Railway” for 2023, taking into account the opinion of the independent auditor – the private joint-stock company “KPMG Audit” (see the Bulletin of the Association dated March 19, 2024), as well as the reports of the supervisory board and the board of the joint-stock company “Ukrainian Railway” for 2023.
2. Approved the following distribution of the net profit of the joint-stock company “Ukrainian Railway” for 2023 and the amount of annual dividends: 1,513,227.6 thousand hryvnias – for the payment of dividends to the state budget; 2,522,046 thousand hryvnias – for financing capital investments approved in the consolidated financial plan for 2024, reconstruction of critical railway infrastructure and renewal of rolling stock; 1,008,818.4 thousand hryvnias – for financing the transportation of concrete and reinforced concrete structures for the construction of military engineering and fortification facilities.
