Another Reorganization of Central Executive Authorities

By Resolution No. 963 of 17 July 2026, entitled “Certain Issues of Optimizing the System of Central Executive Authorities,” the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine:

1. Renamed:
   • – the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine to the Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine (Association’s note: since Ukraine gained independence, this ministry has now been renamed for the eighth time. Following the previous so-called “optimization of the system of central executive authorities,” the ministry existed for just under one year—specifically, 361 days);
   • – the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine to the Ministry for Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine.
2. Established the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine.
3. Revoked the decision to liquidate the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine (Association’s note: however, no reference was provided to the decision under which this ministry was previously scheduled to be dissolved).
